Job Description The Bean Dip Production Technician is a position that is responsible for racking, pulling, and unloading in the bean dip production area. The weekly work hours are generally 40+ hours per week. Holiday work is required. The individual must have the ability to lift 70 pounds safely, be capable of standing, bending, and lifting for up to 12 hours per day, see (near acuity and far acuity) climb stairs often, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include: Racking, pulling, and unloading full bean dip cans. You will rotate between these positions every 30 minutes, with a 15 min break every 2 hours. During racking you will be on your feet pushing cans of bean dip into baskets to be retorted (cooked in pressurized tanks). During pulling you will be moving baskets of bean dip from racking to retort (20 feet away). During unloading you will be unloading post-retort baskets by pushing cans of bean dip onto a conveyor.
