Manager Learning and Development


The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for improving the productivity of the MCE employees. This position assesses organization-wide development needs to drive training initiatives across multiple lines of business within the MCE with a specialized focus on Leadership Training and Continuous Training journey. This position will work directly with the MCE Operational Leaders to ensure the training the overall support of MCE objectives and goals to include overall support of our customer experience strategy. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance, and recognize performance. The training programs should be designed to maximize employee retention, career pathing, leadership development while promoting customer service behaviors and the Experian Way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops training and development programs and objectives
  • Obtains and / or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
  • Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs to achieve expected outcomes
  • Partner with Leadership and HR Business Partners to develop programs and content in support of Contact Center and Support leader development
  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
  • Comply with all security and confidentiality regulations of the company
  • Other duties, as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree (MA and/or Six-Sigma certification is a plus)
  • 5-7+ years leading training organization with direct experience creating training programs and delivering training
  • Experience in instructional design
  • Experience in Contact Center setting (Financial experience a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment across multiple functional groups
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience preparing training material
  • Solid problem-solving and management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to think tactically and strategically with a focus towards execution and results
