TheeCommerce Operationsteam supports Hallmark's Digital Commercialization strategies in leading the charge to bring Hallmark's most iconic products to the consumer, wherever and whenever they want to use them. We are a small, multi-disciplinary team with a passion for charting new ground and driving growth for the company!

The ecommerce operations team translates business strategies into operational requirements and optimal supply chain, inventory, & logistics solutions. The team functions as liaisons between customer development, product/marketing, finance, and supply chain for digital commercialization opportunities and ecommerce customer requirements. The team is instrumental in facilitating cross divisional efforts for delivery of ecommerce & click/collect program, inventory, ordering, and capability requirements.

TheEcommerce Demand and Inventory Planner (D&IP)is responsible for developing aggregate and SKU-level demand forecasts that reflect customer and consumer demand and for making production decisions in accordance with established inventory policies (serviceability, segments, lot size, etc.), the inventory plan, and financial and strategic objectives. He/She partners with Supply Chain to ensure inventory availability to support retailer needs in the most cost effective manner possible.

The Ecommerce D&IP analyzes factors that impact demand, such as marketing tactics, seasonal events, new product introductions, product discontinuations, account penetration changes, click & collect program launches, assortment plans, etc.

He/she builds a forecast that quantifies the impact of the aforementioned factors. The forecasts are developed in collaboration with the Ecommerce Operations Planner, Senior Digital Analyst, Product & Marketing Managers, & Digital Marketing Strategist.

The Ecommerce D&IP is responsible for selecting the most appropriate forecast model or methodology to generate an accurate demand forecast, for running the decision support model to recommend inventory strategies, and for making inventory decisions in alignment with the approved strategies and availability expectations. He/she is responsible for safety stock and lot size calculations.

The Ecommerce D&IP partners with Distribution Centers, includin g external Fulfillment partners, regarding product availability expectations, bin setup and sequencing, finished goods levels reported in the rankbook, stop select points, capacity, etc. The Ecommerce D&IP will partner with global partners in support of Hallmark's global acceleration plans.

This position will continue to build Hallmark's technical SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and Enterprise Core Component (ECC) subject matter expertise. The Ecommerce D&IP will represent ecommerce operations planning in any future ERP/WMS/DOM and/or new system implementations.

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years professional work experience
3+ years of demand and/or inventory planning experience
Professional experience in MicrosoftExcel
Systems experience in SAP and Legacy/PPS/Inventory


Advanced skills in MicrosoftExcel ;
Experience with Tableau or aptitude to learn;
Strong analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyze and interpret data;
Excellent organizational skills, resourcefulness, and ability to identify and solve problems;
Strong process improvement & project management skills;
