To get there, we need highly motivated, talented individuals who are empowered to find answers through creative technology.As a Senior Data Science Engineer in Content Engineering, you will be part of our Digital Transformation, a mission to automate our data acquisition, quality assurance, content creation and analytics in a scalable cloud environment. With the guidance of financial experts, you will leverage these large data sets to improve the quality and extend the scope of FactSet's existing and next generation products.ResponsibilitiesIngest and analyze structured and unstructured data sources to drive innovation in content creation.Automate the acquisition, relevance scoring and storage of incoming sources.Develop processes for data mining, data concordance and data production.Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms.Combine models to provide meaningful business insight.Optimize data retrieval, develop dashboards and other visualizations for financial experts.Essential RequirementsBS or MS in Computer Science or Mathematics related field.5+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist.Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.Experience in information extraction, parsing and segmentation, ontology and taxonomy resolution and disambiguation.Successful history of writing production grade code and releasing in an enterprise environment.Show continuous progress in an Agile development environment.Coach and share approaches with other Data Scientists.Generate a visualization of results for business intelligence or business analytics.Desirable RequirementsExperience with SpaCy, NLTK, Stanford NER, Polyglot or other NERC tools.Experience with modern data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop or other map/reduce big data systems and services.Strong experience and proficiency with Python, Pandas, Numpy and AWS APIs.Strong math and statistics skills.Experience with AWS environment e.g., Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, EMR.Experience in data visualization tools like DataViz, Graphana or Apache Superset.Strong communication and presentation skills with non-technical stakeholders.FactSet is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityVEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the stateThe EEO is the Law poster is available here.FactSet Research Systems Inc. endeavors to make our website accessible to any and all users.
