This position directly supports the production of cables and harnesses used in the building of satellites, missiles and other critical Defense Programs. As a Quality Engineering Associate Manager, the candidate will provide leadership to the Courtland Cable and Harness Production Quality team. This includes Quality Engineers, Production Floor Inspectors, and Receiving Inspection (approximately 10 people).Key responsibilities include:• Leading, developing and mentoring team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors • Supporting new business proposals and program start ups • Providing surge support to Quality Engineering team • Ensuring product compliance through accurate flow down of Program/Industry requirements • Trending Quality metrics and performing/leading root cause analysis and corrective action• Interfacing with DCMA, Customers and other key stakeholders to resolve technical and Quality issues • Helping dive process improvements and cost savings through utilizing a continuous improvement mentalityWe are seeking an energized individual who is passionate about building the space technologies of tomorrow.
