Business Group Highlights Defense The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nationaposs defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions. Responsibilities Candidate must hold an active secret security clearance. The candidate will apply expertise in computer system Information Assurance to support and maintain complex computer based systems for U.S. Navy Undersea Warfare ranges. Routine tasks will include Monitor system compliance via provided monitoring tools Implement patches to individual IT equipment as required Perform scans of systems to detect risks and identify solutions for remediation of vulnerabilities Monitor system performance and maintain system availability Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) on systems as required by received compliance requirements (GFI) Research and prepare supporting IA material for Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPR) including the preparation and submission of Infrastructure Change Requests (ICRs) and ITPRs. Attend Departmental IA Compliance Trainings in order to be a resource person to the IA Officer Gather data, status reports and equipment information for inputs to the IA Officer in support of the formulation of Departmental IA policy guidance Immediately report any security concerns to the IA Officer The candidate shall also develop Information Assurance Assessment and Authorization (AA) packages for new and modified IT systems. The candidate will use the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Nessus vulnerability scanner, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tools. The candidate audit IA-enabled software in accordance with STIGs. The Contractor shall implement Echelon II Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) recommendations, changes, improvements, etc. to the affected AA packages. Qualifications SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED. BSBA in Computer Science or related field and 0-2 years experience in Information Assurance operations.
