Job ID: 550734BR Date posted: Mar. 25, 2021 Locations: Greenville, South CarolinaProgram: Fighters: F-16 Iraq Description:This position will support the Iraq F-16 Program and is located at Balad AB Iraq.Duties: Plans and schedules aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements. Develops plans and establishes production schedules to meet mission requirements. Schedules IQAF associated support systems through maintenance phases. Determines maintenance capabilities to aid in developing operational schedules. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements.Coordinates with IQAF customer to ensure support is available to meet schedules. Manages aerospace vehicles, engines, selected equipment inventory data. Reconciles flying hour data with IQAF/ LM Operations. Schedules and monitors workload requirements. Ensures the Maintenance manager, Production Office, and Senior Site Management are advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules.Uses an automated system [ILIAS] to schedule and monitor maintenance activities' workload. Schedules maintenance jobs, help establish work priorities and monitors completion times.Operates maintenance information systems (MIS) and maintains equipment records to support applicable weapons systems. Coordinates with maintenance data systems analysis to establish automated support requirements. Maintains and audits weapon systems records. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling maintenance actions.Maintains historical records for weapons and support systems. Manages the weapons system configuration, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), special inspection, and time change program and related ILIAS items. Ensures accurate documentation of aircraft engines, munitions, TCTO, time change items, and special inspections.In addition, will be required to train, advise and assist the IQAF customer on any and all parts of position described above. Will work directly for the Maintenance manager with other duties assigned at managers discretion.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to acquire a DOD secret clearance.*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. * Ability to acquire an Interim Security Clearance required. Must have ability to acquire Interim Security Clearance AND must maintain a Secret Security Clearance once granted.Candidates offered a position must complete a pre-employment medical exam that is designed to ensure deployment to the worksite in Iraq, which is located in an austere environment with very limited access to medical care, does not pose a direct threat.Basic Qualifications:Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in this career field.
