The Liquidity Product Team in GTS is responsible for over $550B in wholesale deposits globally. The team covers deposit strategy, deposit pricing, deposit appetite, product development and product management - including sweeps, zero balance accounts, physical cash concentration and multi currency notional pooling. Our team also supports large/complex liquidity deals, drives liquidity thought leadership, analyses the impact of monetary policy on wholesale banking and leads the GTS' response to enterprise-led regulatory changes. In addition, we own GTS' response to Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR/Stress Testing), Internal Liquidity Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution Planning (the Living Will), and other regulatory balance sheet related inquiries.

We have an opportunity in our Balance & Rate Strategy team, which analyzes GTS cleints and associated deposit balances to optimize the size and cost of the global portfolio. The team has end to end product responsibilities for the tools and processes that facilitate deposit pricing. Through thorough analysis, the team understands how and why client balances effect the portfolio. The team effectively presents and articulates tactics to senior leaders which align to our responsible growth strategy. The team also leads GTS' response to CCAR ("Stress Testing") and GRRP ("Living Will") and provides thought leadership on deposit strategy, monetary policy, fiscal policy and financial regulation,

As an End-to-End product manager, the candidate will need to maintain key day-to-day working relationships, not only with partners such as Compliance, Risk, Treasury and Operations, but also with regional and local Liquidity product management colleagues across the Globe.

The individual will be responsible for leading the analysis of all aspects of the GTS deposit portfolio, developing pricing tactics and related execution plans, and creating tools, leveraging our data environment, to support Sales and Management decisioning. The successful candidate will be able to successfully partner with our data and technology teams to create and execute on a roadmap to effectively leverage Liquidity data in the organization. Additionally, the candidate will also take a lead role in partnering with Finance on Planning, Forecasting and FTP.

Ideally, the candidate will have or quickly develop the following:
  • Lead junior members of the team to execute on strategic initiatives
  • Have a deep understanding of GTS products and strategy
  • Have the ability to connect Monetary and Fiscal policy changes with the effects to our clients and business
  • Impact real business results through enhancing our data/analytic environment
  • Gain exposure to Sales, clients, other products partners within GTS, and control partners in corporate treasury, risk and finance


Required Skills:
  • Self-starter, willing to develop and own projects - and to drive them to completion
  • Numerate and analytical - finance background is an advantage
  • Comfortable using data to create models and analytics which are easy for the end user to understand
  • Intellectually curious - must want to understand the GTS business, monetary policy and new regulations
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with Banking regulation
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships


Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with modernaized data anlysis and visualization tools such as Altryx and Tableau
  • Familiarity with GTS data sources such as GTS-BI and TrADS
  • Understanding Data Models
  • SQL proficiency
