Your background

  • 10+ years of experience; Global Mobility background especially immigration experience a must
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus

What you can expect

Global Mobility is a specialist function within Global Human Resources (GHR). The Global Mobility team manages the bank's international assignments, permanent transfers and Frequent Business Travelers globally, US domestic relocations, and operates the Immigration Center of Excellence. It owns the global mobility programs, the relocation, tax and immigration vendor relationships and, the systems and processes related to the bank's mobile population in 40+ locations with 700+ moves annually. With presence in New York, Charlotte, United Kingdom, and Hong Kong, the Global Mobility team engages with several HR business partners, Finance, Corporate Tax and Global Talent Acquisition functions to ensure operational excellence and support to the bank's mobile employees and local visa holders.

What you will do

Purpose of the role
  • Provide senior accountability for critical processes with multi-regional geographic footprint.
  • Keep abreast with laws rules and regs in immigration and update processes and compliance requirements with the immigration vendor adapting immigration strategy and related process to changing environment
  • Manage relationships with other functions in APAC (Finance, HR Shared Services, Corporate tax, procurement, risk and control)
  • Work collaboratively with the Global Mobility team globally to design and implement solutions and process improvements

  • Immigration Center of Excellence processes outside the United States including immigration vendor relationship and escalation management, point of contact for process improvements with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, HR Service Center
  • APAC frequent business travelers and remote workers ownership
  • Global responsibility for intercompany agreements related to expatriates
  • APAC owner for Global Mobility business controls, including issue resolution and process improvements
  • APAC Payroll liaison
