Job Description
Systems Engineers implement, support, maintain, and manage IT services, including networking, IT security, and disaster recovery. Systems Engineers provide advanced technical support for desktop, server, and networking issues. Systems Engineers ensure all IT services are properly maintained and upgraded, including anti-virus, backups, imaging, and patching. Systems Engineers provide subject matter expertise for both hardware and software.
Belangrijkste taken
· On-site service and maintenance (preventive, corrective and predictive)
· Monitoring existing systems to ensure structural integrity via dashboard tools
· Ensure constant availability of technical resources
· System administrator of (virtual) servers/workstations/switches/firewalls
· Document and report anomalies to our Technical Assistance Center
· Writing and maintaining procedures necessary for the exploitation of the system/network
· Implementing updates/patches after validation on test environment
· Effective communication to the customer on regular basis
· Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention
· Working 1 week per month in a 24h/7d duty-system
Kwalificaties
· Bachelor/Master in Information Technology/Computer Engineering
· 3-5 year experience is nice-to-have, junior profiles are welcome
· Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
· Experience with monitoring systems (Solarwinds N-Able/Zabbix)
· Knowledge of HCI (VxRail)
· Knowledge of OS/AD/GPO
· Knowledge of networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
· Fluently in Dutch, French is nice-to-have
· Fluently in English
