Automation Specialist

The Automation Specialist will collaborate and work with our EEE (External Expert Engagement) organization to establish standard process management, transform processes and drive continuous improvement.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Collaborate with EEE organization (this includes all departments) to establish standard process management.

• Establish and embed process improvements using data mining and management techniques where applicable to increase operational efficiency.

• Proactively work with EEE organization to transform processes to eliminate risks and support optimizations to drive continuous improvement.

• Analyse business problems and execute problem solving using best practices in problem management.

• Produce process metrics working with services and IPG (Insights, Performance and Governance) team, identifying trends, patterns and improvements.

• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for automation.

• Design, develop, and test automation workflows.

• Deploy RPA (Robotic Process Automation) components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools.

• Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions.

• Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).

• Monitor and maintain automation post-implementation and resolve any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.

• Create and maintain process documentation outlining best practices and troubleshoot errors.

• Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members in EEE to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing software applications.

• 2+ years experience in any of the programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net).

• Hands on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. UiPath experience is highly preferred.

• Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).

• Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects.

• Experience developing and consuming APIs.

• Basic knowledge of ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

• Experience with Databases, such as SQL and NoSQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working experience in Healthcare, Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries.

• Attention to detail

• Business analysis working experience

• Strong organizational, and project management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to analyze data from divergent sources and translate it into meaningful recommendations

• Excellent English writing skills

• Proficient in Visio
