WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Implementations Manager for Retirement Plan Services, Inc. is responsible for leading the end-to-end onboarding of new retirement plan clients, ensuring a smooth, timely, and transparent transition onto the platform.
As an individual contributor, this role serves as the primary point of contact throughout implementation, coordinating closely with internal teams, prior service providers, and clients to deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience.
The Implementations Manager also plans deconversions for clients transitioning away from our client, coordinating with clients, successor providers, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and well-communicated offboarding.
This role maintains high standards of professionalism and compliance throughout the process, protecting the client's brand and client experience through the final interaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new 401(k) plans, including MEPs and PEPs, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and timely implementation experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, setting expectations and maintaining clear, proactive communication
Own implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables, driving accountability across all parties
Obtain necessary information to ensure accurate configuration of plan provisions, eligibility, contributions, vesting, and related features
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, advisors, and payroll providers to support successful plan launch
Adapt quickly to new technologies and implementation tools, supporting ongoing system enhancements and platform improvements
Oversee the collection, review, and validation of plan documents, payroll data, and historical plan information
Ensure accurate payroll integration and contribution processing, including deferral elections, employer contributions, and remittance timing
Validate data accuracy to support compliant plan operation from inception
Apply working knowledge of retirement plan compliance requirements, including 401(k) nondiscrimination rules, to ensure plans are established correctly
Lead the deconversion process for departing clients, coordinating timelines, data transfers, and documentation with clients, successor providers, and internal teams
WHAT YOU NEED:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with retirement plans or financial services
Strong working knowledge of 401(k) plan administration - including eligibility, contributions, vesting, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with payroll processes as they relate to 401(k) contributions
ASPPA credentials preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with pooled plan arrangements (MEPs/PEPs), strongly preferred

Compensation: $80-$90k annually plus bonus opportunity!
