THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a senior, hands‑on network security engineer to deliver post‑sales technical services for large service provider and enterprise customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical problem‑solving, working directly with customers, and being trusted to handle complex, real‑world network security challenges. You’ll operate as a mobile, floating resource, supporting multiple customers rather than being tied to a single account.
THE TECHNOLOGY:
You’ll work with a high‑scale network security platform that protects critical networks from
DDoS
attacks and major
network traffic -based threats.
The technology operates in large, high‑throughput environments, providing deep visibility into
network
traffic
and
routing
behaviour and enabling rapid detection and mitigation of live attacks. This is
hands‑on engineering
in production networks, not a plug‑and‑play solution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Act as a technical expert for network security solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues (remote & onsite)
Support customers during live DDoS and security incidents
Optimise, upgrade, and tune deployed solutions
Work closely with engineering teams on escalations
Deliver technical training, documentation, and best‑practice guidance
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Strong networking fundamentals (BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP)
Background in service provider or large enterprise networks
Comfortable working directly with customers
English + a second language would be ideal.
French
preferred (or
Spanish / Italian
a bonus)
Location & Travel
Based in UK or Ireland, near an international airport
30–40% travel to customer sites
