About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic and fast-paced legal department. This role is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with extensive experience managing litigation matters, coordinating with outside counsel, and supporting corporate legal operations. Job Description: The Senior Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in managing litigation support activities, regulatory matters, compliance initiatives, and legal documentation. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, outside attorneys, and internal departments to help minimize risk and ensure smooth legal operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor litigation cases, disputes, claims, and regulatory matters from intake through resolution.
- Serve as the primary liaison with outside counsel regarding case updates, strategy discussions, deadlines, and legal documentation.
- Review legal invoices for accuracy and assist with processing and tracking billing approvals.
- Support discovery and legal hold processes by coordinating document collection efforts with internal stakeholders and IT teams.
- Prepare summaries and status updates for leadership regarding active legal matters and ongoing claims.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research to support business decisions and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with risk management efforts and collaborate with operational leadership regarding compliance-related concerns.
- Review and maintain lease agreements, real estate documentation, and ownership records.
- Organize and maintain corporate records, entity filings, annual registrations, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents including contracts, NDAs, and letters of intent.
- Support policy development, intellectual property coordination, and additional legal administrative projects.
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Perform additional legal and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal or related legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, legal documentation, and regulatory processes.
- Experience coordinating with outside counsel and supporting complex legal matters.
- Familiarity with corporate filings, lease administration, and property ownership research preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Windows-based systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
