RANDALL OFFSITE CONSTRUCTION specializes in the integration of Completely Prefabricated Bathroom Pods for hotel, dormitory, medical and multi-family ground-up construction projects. Randall Offsite Construction (Pods) is currently seeking a skilled Hands-On Inventory Control Manager to work in our Apopka, FL headquarters and production facility. Position Summary The Inventory Control Manager in a manufacturing environment will actively manage, control, and improve inventory operations within our offsite construction manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a working leader who is comfortable on the warehouse floor, directly involved in daily inventory activities, and accountable for accuracy, organization, and material flow. This position blends leadership with execution.You will set standards and processes while rolling up your sleeves to ensure they are followed.You will need high level computer skills to manage and report the flow of materials into the facility, to control the pace and sequence into the manufacturing process, and to ship our finished products out to job sites. Essential Functions
- Perform and oversee daily inventory control activities, including receiving, issuing, staging, transfers, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits
- Actively work on the floor to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Manage material flow from receipt through production and jobsite delivery
- Ensure inventory locations, labeling, and storage practices remain organized and accurate
- Use computer systems to track inventory movements and maintain data integrity
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Project Teams
- Train, supervise, and lead inventory and warehouse staff by example
- Enforce inventory procedures, controls, and best practices
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, shortages, excess inventory, and downtime
- Support continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced production / manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on inventory control or materials management experience
- Prior experience in construction, offsite/modular manufacturing, or industrial operations preferred
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory transactions, and cycle counting
- Proven ability to work physically in warehouse and yard environments
- Experience leading or supervising inventory or warehouse personnel
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and project teams
- Forklift or material-handling experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree a plus
Physical Requirements This is primarily a field or jobsite job.You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
