Senior Financial Analyst
Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the Emerging Technology Sales Finance team, with a primary focus on the Fusion business—one of Autodesk's key strategic growth areas.
This role will support forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for Fusion, helping Sales and Finance leadership understand business performance and drive informed decision-making. In addition, the role will contribute to broader Emerging Tech Sales finance activities, including consolidated reporting, forecast support, and ad hoc analysis across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate is an adaptive, perseverant, and organized individual, with strong analytical capabilities, systems proficiency, and ability to translate data into actionable insights. The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support weekly forecast submissions for top-line metrics (ACV, Billings, Subs), partnering with stakeholders in Sales and Finance to align forecast assumptions and drivers
- Assist with implementation of weekly reporting process that provides actionable insights to Sales and Finance leadership
- Analyze business performance including variance analysis vs. forecast, plan, and prior periods
- Support the Fusion Finance Business Partner with project work and ad hoc tasks as needed
- Contribute to consolidated reporting and analysis across Emerging Technology Sales
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in reporting and forecasting
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects
- Leverage tools such as Anaplan, Power BI/Sigma, and Snowflake with high proficiency Advanced professional delegation
- Improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and scalability
- Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives
- Build relationships with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams
- Support quarter-end close and time-sensitive deliverables
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and ownership
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial planning and BI tools (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI, Sigma)
- Experience working with large datasets (e.g., Snowflake or SQL-based platforms)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and provide clear, concise communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting SaaS or subscription-based sales organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data and reporting
- Advanced professional designation (CPA, CFA, or MBA)
- Experience supporting high-growth or emerging product businesses
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
- Exposure to process automation or AI-driven analytics
