Job Overview Administrative Associate – Claims Department, Contract to Hire, Omaha, NE. Full‐time onsite with transition to hybrid after training. Responsibilities Handle incoming and outgoing mail; confirm correct documents are included and sent to appropriate recipients. Record losses and related information in the system. Prepare claim‐related correspondence and templates. Perform daily cash reconciliation and issue stop‐pays. Review check/draft requests for adequate documentation; may operate the check/draft printer. Respond to approximately 20 telephone status inquiries daily from agents, claimants, insureds and others. Review, validate, and audit files and electronic paperwork for commercial auto and commercial property clients; forward to next department. Create new loss records and issue payments in ClaimCenter and ImageRight. Navigate multiple screens and use several programs to review paperwork. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with practical trade training (1–3 years). At least two years of workplace experience. Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with accuracy. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications. Ability to pass a basic math test and a proofreading test. Comfortable working under occasional supervision and following standardized procedures. Customer‐service experience preferred (retail, food service, office, claims, processing).
