Job Description Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a 2nd Shift opportunity with a growing warehouse and distribution operation. Pay:$19.40/hr. Schedule: 2nd Shift Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and process orders
- Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage
- Secure loads and ensure proper storage of materials
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience
- Valid forklift certification preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills for inventory and order verification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
