Foundry Technician
Location - Newton, MS Work Arrangement - Onsite, Nights M-TH (7:00 PM – 5:15 AM)

Core Responsibilities
- Prepare sand cores for metal casting by molding and shaping sand mixtures using specific patterns and molds.
- Combine sand with binding agents to achieve the desired consistency and durability.
- Operate industrial mixers and core making machines, adjusting settings and performing routine maintenance such as cleaning and calibration to ensure equipment functionality.
- Conduct thorough inspections of sand cores using measuring tools and blueprints to identify defects and ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
- Participate in morning meetings with the team leader to review production requirements, discuss scrap and rework rates, and communicate shift information.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
Qualifications
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, mathematics, and verbal communication
- Strong work ethic with good attendance and teamwork skills
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with machinery operation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently after training
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
