Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Migration Engineer to support a SQL migration project on the Connected Delivery Platform Team.
This platform powers the discovery, download, and installation of all company products, services, and third-party applications.
In this role, your primary responsibility is to migrate data from a legacy system to the Next-Gen platform, leveraging AWS tools—especially AWS DMS—to move data across SQL and NoSQL databases. This is a focused, time-boxed migration project with no extension.
Key Responsibilities
Migrate data from MongoDB to PostgreSQL
Migrate data from MySQL to PostgreSQL
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
Build test scripts to validate data migration using languages such as Node.js or Python
Support scripting and automation efforts for AWS DMS-based data migration
Collaborate with the platform engineering team to ensure accurate and secure data transfer
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience developing scalable, distributed applications
Proven experience with SQL, AWS, and NoSQL technologies
Strong proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries
Experience with programming languages such as Node.js
Hands-on experience with AWS services (AWS DMS strongly preferred)
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (required)
