We are looking for someone with great attention to detail, organization and note taking abilities, and desire to learn spray application techniques for industrial coatings. The work environment is an air-conditioned laboratory environment including personal lab benches and shared processing and application spaces.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.
* Accurately recording results and observations related to batch making, sample preparation, and panel testing Making paint samples using equipment
* Spraying or applying coatings to small test panels
* Measuring properties of wet paint samples and coated panels
* Assisting in application lab with more complex application techniques
* Communicating information to the project leader
* Follows work instructions and test methods
* Routine paperwork for ordering chemical samples, formula samples, etc.
* Maintaining chemical inventories
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
* High school diploma or equivalent of.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Basic Computer Skills
* 6 months experience in an industrial lab

* Technical degree
