Job Title
Operates automatic dishwasher that cleans and sanitizes all plates, glass, silverware, pots, and pans. Items too large for machine will be washed by hand.
Responsibilities
- Sets up dishwasher correctly i.e.: temperature, drains, detergents at proper levels. - Washes dirty dishes then stacks and stores in the appropriate area of the kitchen. - Thoroughly cleans dishwashing equipment and work areas. - Performs clean-up in all kitchen areas. - Wash pots and pans properly, including presoak and sanitizing. - Dispose of waste in manner prescribed by management. - Assists in putting away stock, rotating stock and cleaning stock rooms. - Successfully complete training of required OSHA programs. - Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures. - All duties must be carried out in a safe manner. - Be flexible and adaptable to the changes that will occur to your job - Employee must treat everyone with dignity and respect. - Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
Qualifications
- Highly organized.
- Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds.
- Strong Guest Service Skills
- Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented.
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers.
