The Strategy & Planning Community encompasses Strategic Planning,Transformation Execution,Analytics & Insights, and Property Strategy.The Transformation Execution team is a newteam that we are standing up to oversee execution of ourmulti-year strategic transformation.

The Transformation Execution Team willbuild out the program, project and change managementmethodologyand tools, drive a robustand rigorous planning process,andcoordinate activities with leaders and teams across the organization.The Transformation Execution team willprovide oversight of the most critical initiativesto ensure asuccessfully executedtransformation.

You Will

The Transformation Governance Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling disciplined, enterprisewide execution of GSUSA's multiyear strategic transformation. Serving as a key steward of the organization's governance ecosystem, this leader operationalizes the frameworks, standards, and decisionmaking processes that ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability across a complex transformation portfolio. The role is responsible for operationalizing and stewarding the governance frameworks, standards, and processes that ensure disciplined, consistent execution of GSUSA's multiyear transformation, and drives the daytoday governance operations - including initiative intake, prioritization support, portfolio coordination, and adherence to transformation methodologies.

Essential Responsibilities

Working under the Sr. Director, Transformation Governance, the Transformation Governance Manager ensures that teams across the organization understand and apply the transformation standards, tools, and processes. This role partners closely with Initiative Owners, Program Delivery, Strategy, and Finance to maintain clarity, alignment, and accountability across the transformation portfolio.

Initiative Intake & Portfolio Prioritization Support

Lead the end-to-end operational workflow for initiative intake, ensuring submissions meet governance standards and include clear problem statements, value propositions, dependencies, and resource needs.

Facilitate crossfunctional evaluation and prioritization of new initiatives, aligning recommendations with enterprise strategy, organizational capacity, and transformation objectives.Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning.Maintain a transparent, real-time view of initiative status (approved, pending, deprioritized) in partnership with the Transformation Analytics & Reporting Manager.Communicate prioritization outcomes and sequencing decisions to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats that support executive decisionmaking.

Governance Standards, Methodology & Tools

Support the Sr Director, Transformation Governance in defining, enhancing, and institutionalizing GSUSA's transformation governance standards, methodologies, and lifecycle processes.
Maintain and continuously improve governance documentation, templates, and guidance materials to ensure consistency and clarity across the enterprise.
Ensure alignment between governance standards, reporting requirements, and data quality expectations.
Oversee adherence to governance processes at key milestone gates, including change control, project closure, and other critical checkpoints.

Governance Operations & Portfolio Coordination

Coordinate closely with Program Delivery to ensure governance processes are practical, scalable, and aligned with execution realities.
Identify, negotiate, and resolve crossinitiative dependencies, risks, and resource constraints, escalating issues as appropriate.
Manage the operational cadence of governance forums, including agenda development, preread preparation, facilitation support, and followup action tracking.

Capability Building & Stakeholder Support

Train Initiative Owners, Project Managers, and crossfunctional teams on governance standards, tools, and transformation methodologies.
Provide coaching and advisory support to strengthen organizational adoption of structured delivery practices.
Develop userfriendly guides, FAQs, and resources to promote consistent governance behaviors across GSUSA.
Partner with Talent & Culture and Program Delivery to identify and address capability gaps related to transformation execution.

Required Competencies

Deep understanding of program/project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and portfolio management practices.
Demonstrated ability to design, operationalize, and scale enterprise processes, standards, and tools.
Exceptional facilitation skills, particularly in complex, crossfunctional environments.
Strong communication and documentation capabilities, with the ability to translate complex processes into accessible guidance.
Ability to influence without authority and drive consistency across diverse stakeholder groups.
High attention to detail, strong organizational discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Competency in Microsoft Power BI or similar software
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools

You Need

Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in program/project management, PMO operations, governance or transformation support.
Prosci and/or ACMP CCMP or equivalent required

Preferred, equivalent experience considered:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification demonstrating structured project delivery discipline
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CCBA, or equivalent experience in business analysis and requirements management
Experience in a federated or multi-stakeholder environment preferred.

Compensation Range: Annual base salary range is between $70,000 - $130,000.

This represents the present low and high end of the pay range for this position. This pay range is only applicable to NYC Metro-based employees, on a hybrid schedule. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a remote, full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
