Obtain a Kentucky Fire Alarm License within 1 year of starting employment and maintain the license for the duration of employment. Will take part in emergency on-call rotation after 6 months of employment. Have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming, and testing.Completion of Electronic Technician program or equivalent experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license; must be able to pass driving background checkPreferredExperience supporting the implementation of analog, hybrid and IP CCTV systems, access control systems, intercom systems, wireless, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systemsMust have working knowledge of local and national codes for installation, inspection and test purposesProficient in the operation of computers and knowledgeable on MS operating systems (including Windows 2000 Server).Ability to configure PC hardware and application programsComputer Network Experience and Qualifications would be a strong asset to this positionExperience in the design or design assist in low voltage applications is desirableUnderstand technical system architectureStrong troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electronic test equipmentGood communication skills and solid understanding of communication protocolExcellent customer servicePay Range: $19.10 - 31.60 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
