We currently have an opening for Design Drafter.
DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR of ENGINEERING
FUNCTION: Use AutoCAD and Inventor 3D, to design, layout, detail, and update pressure vessel designs per customer specifications.
DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare new drawings per the design guidelines
- Update old drawings per the design guidelines
- Design per our manufacturing capabilities
- Interpret quote and customer specifications for Product Design
- Work with customers on questions and clarifications for orders
- Prepare and send drawing approval packages to the customer
- Follow and maintain all drawing and departmental standards and ISO procedures
- Prepare engineering change orders and engineering change requests
- Enter data and maintain the parts in the ERP manufacturing system
- As assigned, train new personnel
- Answer questions as generated by plant employees, supervisors, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS amp; REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Design
- 1 year experience preferable
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor preferred)
