Procurement Analyst
Pay: $33–35.08/hour
Location: 100% Remote (PST hours)
Contract: 6–9 months
Start: ASAP
We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to support indirect procurement operations within a fast-paced, data-driven organization. This role focuses on optimizing non-inventory spend, improving procurement processes, and partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive efficiency and value. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Finance, to support sourcing, contract management, and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end procurement activities for indirect goods and services, including supplier sourcing, competitive bidding, contract review, and onboarding
- Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Assist with sourcing initiatives such as RFPs and RFIs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and communicate procurement strategies
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activity, supplier data, and contracts in internal systems, leveraging tools to improve efficiency and data quality
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot procurement-related issues and escalate risks as needed
- Stay up to date on procurement tools, trends, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years of experience in indirect (non-inventory) procurement, ideally supporting operations or facilities categories
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and adaptable with a strong willingness to learn
Nice to Have
- Experience with procurement or contract management systems (any platform)
- Exposure to categories such as services, technology, facilities, or marketing procurement
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or automation concepts
- Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
