Store Manager

Responsibilities:

Open and close the store each day
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing customer service & fulfilling customer needs
Address phone-in and internet sales inquiries (orders, pricing, technical assistance)
Receive & process cash and credit card payments
Oversee daily cash deposits and invoices
Monitor & maintain accurate product inventory
Work with Purchasing Manager and assist with product purchasing
Coordinate gas and hard good deliveries to customers via the company's professional drivers and VMI associates
Work with warehouse to ensure orders are pulled correctly and shipped in a timely manner
Address & resolve customers receivable issues
Oversee building and grounds maintenance
Ensure that the showroom is clean, stocked, and orderly
Ensure store compliance to policies, procedures, safety practices and regulatory guidelines
Manage and assign employees job responsibilities and work objectives

Qualifications:

Associate Degree preferred
Previous retail/customer service experience - preferably in a management or lead capacity
Knowledge or previous experience in a welding or welding related environment
Efficient distribution of products and services to a wide variety of customers
Ability to supervise & coach employees, establish priorities, plan, and organize activities
Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, safety compliance officials, employees, and other associates
Capable of managing goals, delegating responsibilities, monitoring progress and work objectives and providing feedback/performance evaluations to associates.
Ability to define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and resolve branch problems.
Ability to freely traverse company grounds, bend, reach and reposition self to locate and move materials and clean showroom
Ability to lift and move products up to 60 lbs. from shelves and up to 200 lbs. using the appropriate support and lifting devices
Capable of completing a work schedule which may be before or beyond regular office hours as needed
