Company is seeking a self-motivated and proactive Production Manager. The Production Manager will report to the onsite Plant Manager for this ~35 person plant.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the supervision of an ~15-person crew that operates in 2 shifts.
- Ensure products are manufactured to company standards and meet all quality control requirements.
- Schedule production in an efficient manner while ensuring that inventory levels are appropriate to meet customer requirements.
- Review accuracy of data for daily production reports.
- Establish and maintain an accident-free work environment.
- Ensures that plant machinery and equipment are in compliance with established company OSHA/ EPA policies and requirements.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the production areas of the plant.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Building product or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively communicate with maintenance personnel.
- Experience building, maintaining, and leading a teamwork environment.
- Experience monitoring and managing adequate inventory controls.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with customers.
