As an infectious disease officer in Army Medicine, you’ll be responsible for studying the causes, effects, and patterns of infectious diseases, including biological warfare threats. Through research, you could work with other medical professionals to confirm, diagnose, treat and control the transmission of infectious diseases within the military and communities you support. You may participate in humanitarian missions to address the spread of infectious diseases and find new ways to prevent them.
