POSITION OVERVIEW: The Machinist Intern will perform general maintenance on various machines and learn to operate manual and CNC machines within their department while pursuing a degree in a CNC Machining program at a post-secondary technical college. They will also learn to inspect the products they are running using various measuring devices. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform general maintenance on various machines. Set up and run various machines. Inspect work using gaging and inspection devices to verify conformance to specifications. Meet expectations for productivity and quality and strive for continuous improvement.
