Job Description Westat's 9-week summer internship experiences will be hosted virtually, or on-site at our U.S. office-based locations. Our interns can expect to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The program will begin on Monday, June 5, 2023, and end on August 4, 2023. Summary For the first time in its history, Cook Children’s Health Care System will house a clinic dedicated to the needs of children with complex medical needs. The clinic will be a hybrid model and serve as a transitional medical home for those children with medical complexity who need access to a primary care physician (PCP) or need more intense support at critical times, such as after a hospital admission or acute change in their health status. The clinic will also serve as a consulting service to PCPs who may need some assistance with managing a complex plan of care for their patients.
