Job Summary: The Maintenance Division is currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Shop Foreman. This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract. Activities include: • Hand laminating, working a chopper gun, and rolling out fiberglass materials • Vacuum forms and bonds plastics such as ABS, kydex, polycarb, and plex • Removing and repairing various materials and surfaces • Fabricating parts from polyester resin and urethane foam • Make work schedules and assign tasks • Follow up on jobs and check quality of work The ideal candidate must possess: • Ability to prepare a pattern and pull a tool or a part • Must have previous supervisor experience • Ability to assemble and install appropriate parts • Basic knowledge of plastic materials, adhesive and fasteners • Four years experience in fiberglass assembly and polyester resin/hand...

The Shop Foreman will work closely with all members of the Fleet Maintenance division to oversee and assist with the day-to-day supervising, direct, coordinating employees’ performance, maintenance, service, and repair of the diverse processing equipment within GFL’s fleet.
