DescriptionSchedule: Per Diem. Shift 4-6 hours Every Saturday and Sunday flexible scheduling available or Sunday/Monday Speech Therapists provide services to patients who have a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders. These impairments may result from injury, disease, or other causes. Speech Therapists perform evaluations and treatment based on data gathered from examination. They synthesize findings from history, system review, tests and measures to establish the diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care. The complexity of their evaluation includes the clinical findings, the extent of loss of function, social considerations and overall physical function and health status. Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies in the Radiology Suite to assess Aspiration issues on dysphagia patients.
