Summary The role of the Telemetry Technician is to continuously monitor record, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms, to communicate significant findings to medical and nursing staff, to demonstrate optimal knowledge of telemetry equipment and to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. The Telemetry Technician is to continuously monitor oxygen saturations and is to notify the bedside nurse of any changes in oxygen saturations. Education & Experience Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in arrhythmia interpretation required. Must score a minimum of 80% on an arrhythmia interpretation exam.
