Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: Synchrony's Credit and Capital Management group is looking for a credit risk modeling professional experienced with executing and maintaining models under the relevant regulatory guidance (SR 11-7 / OCC 2011-12, CECL, CCAR, DFAST). This role is part of Credit Forecasting and Advanced Analytics with the Reserves & Loss forecasting team. The role requires demonstrated expertise with data and statistical analysis, as well as programming skills (Python/Pandas, SAS, Spark, Hadoop, SQL). The primary focus of this role is the quarterly loss forecast and reserve estimation process, as well as planning sessions involving development of projections for future years.
