DescriptionSchedule: Day shifts with rotating weekends The Lead Cardiac Technician is responsible for the day to day operations of the cardiac stress lab, which includes the EKG department. Under the direction of a cardiologist, the lead cardiac technician will assist in performing ETT's, stress echoes, nuclear stress tests/MIBIs and adenosine stress testing. Cardiac stress technicians are responsible for scheduling inpatient cardiac stress exams, preparing patients for cardiac stress tests, performing EKGs, recording vital signs including manual blood pressures, setting up patients with Holter monitors, reviewing patient lab results and compiling a preliminary stress test report.
