ABOUT US
========================================
We’re here to empower communities to thrive, and our talented team is where it all starts. As a financial cooperative, we provide stability to the broader U.S. financial system by partnering with hundreds of lenders (our members). Because we’re there for our members, they can be there for their communities. It’s a partnership we’ve nurtured for nearly 100 years, and every employee plays a part.
Our district spans 13 states and 3 U.S. Pacific Territories, and our employees reflect the variety of communities we serve. To best support our members, we must be ourselves, get involved, and develop our skills. When you’re a member of #TeamFHLBDM, you not only help communities thrive, you’re empowered to thrive, too.
<h4><b>It’s not just our business. It’s our commitment.</b></h4>
Homeownership is really important to us. It has many benefits, from creating a sense of belonging to building credit and wealth – all of which contribute to thriving communities. But for many Americans, there are hurdles to achieving it. That’s why we contribute at least 10% of our net income to affordable housing and community development programs. If you’re ready to join a team that is dedicated to jumping those hurdles, we may have the perfect role for you!
