PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Understands and carries out site project logistics plan (clean up, material storage, water pumping etc.) and safety procedures
- completes Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs daily
- Operates small construction equipment (10k-12k all-terrain forklift, skid steer, sweeper etc.)
- Assist with traffic control, rigging, spotting, flagging, fire watch etc.
- Dewater equipment set up
- Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Complete space and fall arrest training
- Assist other trades when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ year of experience as a laborer in large commercial construction projects
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools
- Understand construction terminology
- Work in an organized manner
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Abilityto performheavy lifting/pushing/pulling of materialweighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
