Summary: To stock business products accurately, productively and safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage the receipt and stocking of merchandise received from manufacturers.
Manage all returns and ensure that they are kept current, processed and stocked daily. · Manage and ensure the housekeeping of facility by the day shift.
· Monitoring the production, accuracy, attendance of the day shift.
· Ensure that the day shift follows and adheres to all safety rules including the handling of
hazardous materials.
Manage from 10 to 15 personnel. Ensure productivity standards are maintained. Process productivity reports and post numbers. Ensure all inbound freight is stocked and ready to post to inventory. Ensure that all inbound paperwork is delivered to purchasing. Ensure that cleaning schedule is completed daily and inspected. Ensure that inbound freight scheduled is on time and accurate. Ensure that all freight is checked and discrepancies reported to purchasing. Ensure that the required numbers of SKU’s are counted daily. Adjust shelf space allocation and zone changes as needed. Ensure that all number changes have the proper notification on the shelf. Ensure that all overstock is worked as needed. Help to maintain warehouse inspection points such as emergency exits. Ensure that all manufacturer returns are processed and reported to purchasing. Ensure that all returns are process and stocked daily. Ensure that all non-freight (UPS) is checked daily Inspect furniture area after stocking is completed. Work in other areas as needed Hold communications meeting prior to shift.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous management experience preferred with inventory management.
