Responsibilities- Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
- Daily processing and data management of LiDAR and Imagery data
- Utilization of Applanix and Riegl Software
- Calibration of LIDAR data and aerial imagery
- Aerial Triangulation
- Technical problem solving on advanced geospatial/remote sensing challenges
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Experience working with Riegl Sensors (Airborne and Mobile preferred)
- Experience working with Riegl and Applanix Processing Software
- Experience with Terrasolid (Scan, Match, Photo, Model)
- Experience with Bayesmap StripAlign a plus
- Microstation experience a must
- Excellent technical problem solving skills
- 3-10 years of progressive experience in CAD environments
- 3-10 years of progressive experience with spreadsheets or GIS tools
- 3-10 years of experience with LiDAR classification
- 3-10 years of experience with compilation from LiDAR or stereo imagery
- Aerial triangulation experience a plus
- Field experience collecting geospatial/remote sensing data a plus
- Field experience collecting conventional survey data a plus
- Office experience processing survey data a plus
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including PLS-CAD, Microstation, and/or ArcGIS and MS Office Suite preferred
- Proficient in technical math, including Geometry and Trigonometry
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills
- Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude
