Job Summary:Make an impact moving the materials that power industry. As a key member of our warehouse team, you'll be primary point of contact for receiving and inspecting inbound/outbound goods, picking and preparing orders, building crates/skids, and safely loading outbound shipments via UPS, LTL, and common carriers. You'll operate forklifts and material-handling equipment daily, keep inventory accurate in JDE, and partner with technicians and leadership to keep schedules on track. Responsibilities:- Operate forklift to move, load and unload materials & equipment.
- Interfaces with technicians and management to order and provide goods and service.
- Provides customer/client group information and assures that support requirements and schedules are met.
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure that quantity, count, and quality are accurate.
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Organize products and materials in the warehouse and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and follow standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- JDE experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience setting up UPS shipments along with LTL shipments
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Experience in shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks
- Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Working Conditions:This position requires
some outside work in all weather conditions, lifting up to 75lbs on a daily basis, climbing, bending, and/or after-hours (on-call) work.
