Position Purpose:
To provide supervision in accordance with the requirements of the commercial contracts between VersAbility and various customers for production and assembly work. This position will assist the Operations Manager/Assistant Manager with the day-to-day operations of the contracts, such as scheduling and establishing tasks to be completed during the workday. This position will incorporate supports into the work environment to ensure required services are provided to individuals with disabilities performing production and assembly tasks.
Primary Duties:
• Assist Operations Management Team with the supervision of employees
• Assist Operations Management Team by ensuring work requirements are met satisfactorily according to the customers standards (set forth in instructions and/or agreements with customers)
• Assigns work based on priorities and deadlines, selective consideration of the difficulty of the work and capabilities of employees
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures set forth by VersAbility, the customer, and licensing agencies to include funding sources.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance; provide constructive feedback and coaching
• Assist in the development of plans designed to support person centered goals for those individuals with a Support plan
• Maintain a positive line of communication with customers, employees and management
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of documentation related to customer work, billing, employee records, and the provision of day support services, including file management
• Responsible for keeping the Operations Manager informed of any circumstances that could negatively affect VersAbility's relationship with a customer
• Responsible for participating in meetings and trainings, as directed by Manager
• Responsible for communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with VersAbility and customers
• Provides quality service by encouraging quality and customer service standards
• Other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience working with people with disabilities as well as supervising general work.
