OverviewStryten Energy operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township. We are offering an exciting Summer Internship opportunity for engineering students. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship running from May to August. Interns are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the plant. For those living more than 50 miles away, there may be an option for housing provided by a local university. This intern will work with the team to produce plastic components for car batteries.

Responsibilities- Repair tools, molds, fixtures, gauges, and other equipment
- Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools
- Ensure work is performed neatly and professionally
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis and repetitive failures
- Assist with engineering projects/ modification work
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and safety equipment.
QualificationsWe are looking for students:
- Enrolled in a Technical School or College
- With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- You must have transportation
- The position is required to work on-site daily
- Possibility of housing provided by the local university
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Basic MS Office skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching
- Required to lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs
