The RoleFloor Care Technician – Hospital (Evening Shift)Location: Los Angeles, CAShift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AMPay Rate: $25.90/hour
We are seeking a reliable Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services team at a hospital campus in the Los Angeles area. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented floors across multiple hospital buildings.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types
Support 3–4 buildings on campus, all within walking distance
Safely operate floor care equipment and use cleaning chemicals
Follow hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards
What It Takes To Be Successful - Prior floor care experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently during evening hours
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.)Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures (shampooing, extracting, bonneting)Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing dutiesTime management skillsProven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow-up
