Overview Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Task Lead/ System Engineer to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer.
The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to: Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errorsImplement platforms that orchestrate work-flowsfor end-to-end task executionUtilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience
Responsibilities- Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 10 years’ experience in System Engineering specifically including:
- Analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environmentsProfessional-level skills focused on the data center solutions, technologies and best practices to design, implement, and manage a modern data center infrastructure.10 years’ experience testing large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environments.Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational related assignments associated with Storage operations, and virtualization software (VMware’s vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V0 on a set of enterprise-level IT systems.10 years’ experience writing scripts with a scripting languageFamiliarity with DevOps and ITIL processesExperienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
Eligibility/Clearance Requirements: Eligibility for Entry on Duty clearance
Certification Requirement: CISCO CCNP certified
