We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a
Staff Geotechnical Engineer 2 to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a
full-time position located in our
Seattle, WA office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will: - Perform geotechnical engineering calculations and analyses.
- Perform geotechnical report writing.
- Complete geotechnical field exploration and sample collection.
- Perform geotechnical construction monitoring and testing.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements: - B.S. in Engineering, Geology, or related field required.
- M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering required.
- Engineer-in-Training License
- Ability to obtain PE license in 3-4 years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Team attitude and the ability to interact well with internal staff, and project teams that will include other consultants, contractors, and clients
- Experience with Slide2, Settle3, , and APile/LPile (preferred)
- Experience on construction sites and field explorations (preferred)
- Ability to travel to temporary assignments across the U.S., the Pacific Islands region, and internationally if applicable
- The ability to lift 50lbs
- Current driver's license
The salary range for this position in
Seattle, WA is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market. This role is eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary bonus program. This role may be eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
