The Office Technician (Typing) (OT-T) completes and records all Deputy District Attorney (DDA) records requests, Department of Motor Vehicles Admin Per Se subpoena requests, Public Records Act requests, and both formal and informal discovery requests. Serves as the custodian of records and prepares correspondence on behalf of the Area commander in response to the various records requests. Ensures all laws and policies are adhered to when releasing records, including the completion of required redactions.
The OT-T is responsible for utilizing the Financial Information Systems for California (FI$CAL) for requisitioning and receiving goods and services, completing status checks, and reconciling Procurement Card purchases. The OT-T enters all accounting codes, prepares the requisition for approval and delivery, and submits invoices for receipt of goods and/or services. Researches and attains quotes for all necessary repairs/services and office supply orders. Keeps all Fiscal Year purchase orders available for payments of goods and/or services updated annually.
