Valley Health is seeking a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant for our Cardiothoracic Surgery Team to provide services at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. You will join a program expanding to three cardiac surgeons and our pool of APPs, with an anticipated call rotation of 1:4 coverage.
Winchester Medical Center performs 500 cardiac procedures and is ranked by premier as one of the nation s top 50 cardiovascular programs in the country. Professional responsibilities include Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, surgical first assisting for cardiac surgery, peri-operative and post-operative care for cardiac patients. The Cardiothoracic Surgery PA acts as the liaison between the surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and other care providers to ensure high quality of care throughout the patient s entire journey. Your vision and leadership skills would be highly valued by all members of the Cardiac team.
