A global automation equipment supplier near Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Sales Account Executive to support their business development operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Marketing, and experience selling industrial products or materials to customers in automation, material handling / conveyance, and/or manufacturing. This is a full-time and direct hire role, offering full benefits (health/dental/vision insurances, PTO, 401k options) and a salary range between $60,000 - 70,000 depending on experience. This is a salaried role that does not offer additional commissions. Bi-annual bonuses are provided based on company performance. Sales Account Executive Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a network of prospective customer accounts to produce new sales leads Connect with existing accounts in material handling, automation, and manufacturing to understand their current business needs, and alert them to new product and service offerings that may be of interest Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the product's utility to prospective customers Provide excellent customer service at every stage of the sales process, ensuring customers receive their order exactly to their specifications Collaborate with engineering, production and quality departments on product changes and custom orders Maintain customer files, sales reports, part number files, and pricing Provide accurate quotations for products Assist in other areas when necessary Sales Account Executive Requirements: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. At least two (2) years of sales experience. Entry-level candidates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply! Ability to travel up 50%, nationwide. Occasional international travel to company headquarters may also be required.
