Our client, a leading industrial organization specializing in paper converting and logistics, is seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join their dynamic team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and manufacturing departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handlers
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Shift: Various Shifts Available - Both AM and PM Shifts
What's the Job?
Operate industrial forklifts and roll clamps to move materials within the warehouse and to load/unload trucks or shipping containers.
Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
Load and unload materials manually or with lifting devices such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or aerial lifts.
Read and interpret documents accurately for proper handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
Organize and secure stored materials, record weights, and update production information accurately.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience with a proven safety record.
Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and good judgment in safety practices.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including day and night options.
